As I ponder...

the fact that the Red Sox have won the pennant (is that the correct term?) (a sure sign of the end of days) and the fact that we have a group of religious nutbags (I use that term purely in the technical sense) running the country, I sometimes think it would be very entertaining when we all die to find out that they were wrong and there is no Judeo-Christian god, and that I was wrong and there were gods. What would be entertaining is if we died and found out that actually the Zoroastrians had been right all along. Wouldn't that be amusing?

Don't forget that there was an eclipse as well...as I was watching that, I was fearful that it would be complete just as the Sox won. That would've been too freaky.

If only there had been several shooting stars seen to pass overhead at a key moment in the game, that would have added a certain something to the whole experience as well.
